Information:

In the northwest of the village of Sofulu, 4 km from the village, there was a magnificent Stone Castle - a famous defensive fortress. The age of Sofulu village dates back to VII-VIII centuries. The castle was built to protect against foreign invasions. The village was burned by Armenian Dashnaks in 1918. In the south of the village, on the south side of the north, there is a famous place called Dashgala. This place is more connected with the name of Gachaq Nabi. Protecting himself in this fortress, he destroyed the group of Gorus bailiff Salim Bey.

The historical Stone Castle and other material and cultural monuments located in the village are ancient examples of the history of Azerbaijan here.
