Current situation

Gizilbulag (Chakhirli) village mosque was destroyed by Armenians. Remains of the mosque exist.

Information:

From 1870-1880 to 1917, a mosque was built in the village of Gizilbulag (Chakhirli) by Akhund Gafar, who came from South Azerbaijan, by the village agha Boyukagha, and comprehensive conditions were created for the residents of the village, as well as residents from neighboring villages, to receive religious education in that mosque.
