Current situation

Haji Ali Caravanserai has not been repaired or restored because it is an example of Azerbaijani history and architecture in Iravan. New buildings were built on the site of the ruined caravanserai.

Information:

The caravanserai consisted of 40 shops.

The capital of the Iravan khanate, the city of Iravan, was the main comercial center of the khanate. For this reason, a large warehouse, caravanserai, square and mints were located here. Caravanserai had an important place in the khanate as a place where merchants from local and foreign countries stayed and stored goods in their warehouses.
