Current situation

After the 1988 de­portation, the buildings around the sac­red place were destroyed by Armenians. Azer­baijanis we­re not allo­wed to visit the derelict place

Information:

Urud village is an ancient Turkic-Oghuz homeland. In addition to a temple and a mosque, there were spiritual and reli­gious centers of knowledge in the villa­ge. One of the spiritual and religious pla­ces of this village was the Nazir rock near the bridge, where the villagers used to light candles in the evening. At that time, religious, mystical and spiritual feelings had also become a dominant force in the
