On 4.04.1946, the name of the settlement was changed from Boyuk Vedi to Vedi.

It was destroyed by Armenians.
Information:
Kosanli and Paskili cemeteries each had three ram statues. These statues were the size of living rams and had large horns. These statues existed during the 1948-1953 deportation. Later, the Armenians destroyed the statues to erase the traces of Azerbaijanis.
It is notable for its antiquity.
