After the 1988 deportation, it was destroyed in order to lose the Azerbaijani traces.

There were 2 mosques in the Paskili neighborhood of Vedi settlement, 1 mosque in the Valiushagi neighborhood, and 2 mosques in the Vediler neigh­borhood. Religious figures such as Sheikh Gambar, Sheikh Ali, Molla Mu­hammedtaghi, Kalba Ahmed, Molla Huseyn Nuruyev were leaders in these mosques
